The Founder

Providence Restoration was founded and established by Yuvonnie Varela who has a heart to help better our community. In her early teenage years, she dreamed of assisting individuals with spiritual awareness, life skills, and job placement. This childhood dream was greatly influenced by her Grandmother who provided spiritual guidance, shelter, food, and financial assistance to friends, family and strangers in need. Her house was a resting place for many homeless families and broken hearts. After watching her grandmother care for many people, Yuvonnie’s heart of compassion developed and she now holds the mantle of providing help to those in need. She was given a generosity award by her Church for her involvement with feeding the homeless, fund raising projects, and providing financial assistance to the needy. She is a great role model for both men and women. Yuvonnie is a licensed minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. She's also an alumni of Biola University where she studied biblical theology and business leadership. She’s a mother of two young men whom she loves very much. She not only instill morals, love, and life skills into her children, but also their peers and young adults known or unknown by mentoring and providing a hand up for change.

Our Purpose

To invest in the success of others to help restore lives for a better future.

Transitional Housing

Providence Restoration transitional housing is designed to provide mentorship, housing, and life skills training to adults of all ages. Many of the adults have had challenges in their lives and are in need of housing . At Providence Restoration, we care about the youth and adults who share these challenges and we have committed to not talk change and wish for it, but we are willing to roll up our sleeves and go to work to make change happen.
